In this seminar, students learn journal, expository, and argumentative writing and are introduced to literary concepts relating to fundamental genres and conventions. Basic word processing is taught as part of the writing process. The major types of the literature studied in the course are short stories, poems, plays, and essays which explore adult development and other issues. Open to Liberal Studies Degree students only.
