This course examines contemporary issues, procedures, and problems which are associated with the practicalities of law enforcement, the judiciary, corrections, and rehabilitation. An in-depth examination of current issues in criminal justice research and policies is addressed, as well as the political and ethical obligations and concerns associated with each component of the criminal justice system. Prerequisite: CJ 101.
