The course examines alternative views of subject matter, teaching strategies, learning theories, and assessment practices currently found in science classes. Prerequisites: EDU 202, EDU 220, and EDU 248; concurrent with EDU 345, EDU 355, EDU 390, and EDU 395. This course can only be taken after the student has received an official Letter of Acceptance to the Education major.

This course requires a Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance. Out of state residents are also required to have an FBI fingerprint check. NO STUDENT MAY BEGIN CLASS WITHOUT EACH OF THE REQUIRED CLEARANCES. Applications are available in Room 338 and take 4 - 6 weeks to process.
