This course serves to expand and sharpen one's natural responses to poetry by developing an understanding of poems through creative and imaginative reflection together with analytical procedures that focus on the elements of poetry and the way they work together to shape a poem and involve the reader. Prerequisite: ENG 101 (with a minimum grade of C) or placement into ENG 102. (English Literature Core Course)
