Description:

The nature, theory, history, and psychology of violence in America constitute the focus of this course. The etiology of violence and victimology, and the public response to violence are discussed. Students examine a variety of violent crimes, including the various forms of murder (mass, serial, and spree), homicide, rape, assault, and serial crimes. Prerequisites: CJ 201 and PSYCH 260.
