Students participate in and are exposed to the daily routines of the blood bank, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, hematology, and clinical chemistry laboratories. Students are also introduced to laboratory math, study computer applications in the clinical laboratory, and participate in direct patient contact as part of a phlebotomy team. Prerequisites: BIO 355/365, 420/425, 430/435, 440/445, and 470/475.
