This course runs concurrently with BIO 323, Immunology, and is designed to introduce students to immunological principles by direct use of both modern and classical laboratory techniques. Selected laboratory investigations include serologic testing, serial dilutions, agglutination reactions, precipitation tests, radial immunodiffusion tests, immunoglobulin quantification, flow cytometry, and ELISA techniques. Prerequisites: BIO 108/118 and CHEM 108/118 (all with a minimum grade of C); concurrent with BIO 323.
