General Microbiology examines the principles and techniques of microbiology and surveys the morphological, biochemical, ecological, and genetic bases of the microbial world, including the role of bacteria in disease and the body's response to the invading microbes. Prerequisites: BIO 108/118 and CHEM 108/118 (all with a minimum grade of C); concurrent with BIO 335.
