This course introduces the student to concepts in information technology project management. The course covers the five phases of traditional project management and explores many other related concepts, including managing project scope, risk management, quality control, estimating resources and costs, managing the project schedule and recruiting and organizing the project team. Industry standard project documentation techniques will also be covered. Offered in spring of odd-numbered years. (P: CSCI 109 or CIS 129) (WIC)
