A molecular approach to cell structure and function. Membranes, transport processes, and biochemical mechanisms are stressed. Energetics, kinetics, regulation, and interaction of cellular systems are emphasized. Three lectures and one three-hour laboratory. Not recommended for students with freshman or sophomore standing.
