A study of the complex interactions between parasitic organisms and their hosts. Internal and external parasites and their vectors are considered. The overall ability of the host to respond, as well as specific reactions to important parasites are discussed. The effects of parasites and their associated diseases and of preventative and curative measures involved in their control are included. Three lectures and one three-hour laboratory.
