A study of aquatic habitats as ecosystems. Major consideration is given to trophic structure, limiting factors, community and population relations, and pollution effects. Various aquatic organisms are studied in both the field and the laboratory. Three lectures and one three-hour laboratory. Offered spring of even-numbered years.
