An analysis of the relationship between literature and film, focusing on texts from Spain and/or Spanish America and their film adaptations. Issues to be discussed include film adaptation as a cultural construct narrative voice in literature and film the transformation of the written word to a visual image and the relationship between politics, literature, and film.
