This course is an overview and application of theory explaining how and why people behave as they do with an emphasis on the human processes that occur in groups or organizations. We will explore the complex dynamics of how people work together, relate to coworkers, and respond to supervisors and leaders. And, we will develop insight into the behaviorial influences that effect productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency. Students will be active participants, involved in group exercises, role plays, case discussions, and project teams. Prerequisite: BUS 233 or 234 Operations & Information Systems and BUS 235 or 236 Management and BUS 239 or 240 Marketing and FIN 237 or 238 Corporation Finance. Limited to juniors or seniors Meets general academic requirement W when offered as 361.
