The purpose of this course is to study the facts, concepts, and analyses necessary to understand national health care. The emphasis of the course will be on the economic arguments for or against alternative public policy initiatives in health care and public and private health care systems. Prerequisite: ECN 101 Principles of Macroeconomics or ECN 102 Principles of Microeconomics Meets general academic requirement W when offered as 244.
