Provides a handson approach to the practices of curating and preparing exhibitions and the principles of exhibition design the course will enable a better understanding of the significance of the visual arts in society, the educational role of museums, the physical care and handling of material objects, and the expertise needed to maintain collections and mount exhibitions. Offered every two years. Prerequisite: ARH 101 Introduction to Art History I and ARH 102 Introduction to Art History II Meets general academic requirement W when offered as 306.
