Description:
Second semester topics include univariate and multivariate statistical analyses as they relate to the preparation and interpretation of quantitative research data and the preparation of research reports for journal presentation. Heavy emphasis is given to related computer applications, report writing and the completion of a student-authored research study. Prerequisites: Psychology or sociology introductory and upper-division courses, SOC/PSY 265 or its equivalent. In special cases and with the approval of the Department Chair students may substitute PSY 272 for SOC 272. Offered fall. 3 credits
