Description:

Students receive instruction on the guitar. All levels, beginner through advanced, are welcome. The lessons are structured around each student's experience level. The course covers many styles, including, Rock, Pop, Jaxzz, and R&B, while focusing on modern guitar technique. Material covered includes chordal technique (rhythm) as well as improvisation (lead), reading music (standard musical notation) and theory. Can be repeated for credit. Private music lesson fee. Offered fall and spring. 1 credit per semester.
