This course is offered for students interested in learning the fundamentals of theater directing. The class combines lectures and discussions with hands-on experience. We learn what a director does from choosing a script, researching the production, and developing a concept to casting and directing the play. Students create director's books for one play during the semester and also have the opportunity to direct other students in scenes from dramatic literature.
