Description:
This course addresses the physiological function of muscle along with neural and cellular adaptations to resistance training. Special emphasis will focus on learning to design specific resistance training programs based on an individual's goals and needs. The practical implications of strength training for ?tness, athletic performance and rehabilitation of injuries will be discussed. Prerequisite: ESH 225 with a C+ or higher. 3 credits
