The process of circulation in oxygen delivery during exercise, and the role of the cardiovascular system in integrating the body as a unit to maintain homeostasis in varied environments is studied. The functional capacity of the cardiovascular system is evaluated with respect to health and disease. Topics such as functional versus pathological cardiac hyper-trophy are broached. Prerequisite: ESH 225with a C+ or higher 3 credits
