This course centers on color theory and its relationship to design. Problems in color mixing and color grouping are studied and solved through studio and outside assignments. Individual and group critiques continue as a means of re?ning analytical thinking and of developing a vocabulary to express design concepts. Scienti?c as well as the emotive and symbolic qualities of color will be explored. 3 credits
