This course covers the basic principles and techniques of video producing and directing. Students analyze the decisions a producer/director makes developing a program from concept to execution. While creating video productions, students take program material from idea through writing, organizing crew, budgeting, and handling the actual studio/remote production. Prerequisite: COM 270. Offered alternate years on demand. 3 credits
