Description:
This course is intended for Chemistry and science majors who are interested in the unique chemistry of macromolecules. The basic principles of addition condensation and and Zieglar Natta polymerization is covered. Students also learn the basic methods used to characterize polymers and correlations between properties, functions and uses of polymers. Three hours lecture. Prerequisite: CHE 111, 112 and 211. Offered upon sufficient enrollment. 3 credits
