Synthesizes theory and methods of health education needs assessment and program planning, implementation, and evaluation. The seven areas of responsibility of a health education specialist are integrated into a grant-writing project. Students finalize a professional portfolio notebook first required in HS 1371/3053. Prerequisites: HS 1371, HS 1902, HS 1901, HS 2013, HS 3053, HS 3073. Co-requisite: HS 3083. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
