Instruction about and scheduled observations of educational programs designed to educate deaf and hard-of-hearing children at the preschool, elementary, and secondary levels. The course will cover the following methods of instruction: total communication, auditory-verbal, and teaching English as a second language. One lecture hour and four laboratory hours a week. Prerequisite: Permission from department. Credit: Three hours.
