Ethnic and cultural influences on consumer decisions related to health services and products will be examined and discussed. Emphasis will be placed on the complexity of the issues that confront efforts to enhance the health consumption potential of minority populations. The dramatic gap between the health indices of the majority and minority populations will be analyzed. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
