(ENGL 2333) Survey of the masterworks of world literature, beginning with the seventeenth century and reaching to recent times. Emphasis on the acquisition of an overview of world literature as well as knowledge about the genres, literary epochs, and literary history which has informed British and American literature. Prerequisite: ENG 1023 or its equivalent. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
