Emphasis will be given to Texas Art andMusic Standards. This course will give an overview of the principles, elements, and techniques of the visual arts, architecture, music, photography and theater, as well as the terms and methods used to evaluate and appreciate works of art, music, drama, and other art forms. Also included will be an introduction to people who have made significant contributions in the history of the various art forms. The student will explore and apply comprehensive knowledge of music history, music evaluation, and musical perception and performance.
