An emphasis on the instructional strategies for teaching the most important types of social studies.This course emphasizes necessary teacher competencies and the organization and variousmethods used for different grade levels and achievement levels ofmiddle and secondary school students with an emphasis on cultural diversity. It includes the use of instructional media,measurement, evaluation, technology and lesson planning. Extensive field experiences are included.
