Focuses on the management of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and musculoskeletal systems. Theoretical preparation for intravenous therapy, preoperative nursing and pain management will be included. The application of the nursing process will be emphasized. Nutrition and pharmacology are integrated. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program. Completion of 140, 141, 142, and 143. Concurrent enrollment in 145 and 146.
