Focuses on the management of the pediatric patient and family. Includes family theory, promotion of health and wellness of the infant child, common pediatric conditions including safety issues and child abuse. Special emphasis is placed on assessment of growth and development, communication, and application of the nursing process. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing Program. Completion of 144, 145, 146. Concurrent enrollment in 147, 148, 150, 151.
