Provides clinical experience in long term care and outpatient settings with emphasis on application of basic skills and on health, wellness, and gerontology. Applies health history and assessment techniques. Focuses on application of the nursing process to promote health and minimize illness. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program. Concurrent enrollment in nursing 140, 141, and 142. 141 must be passed with a "C" or better to receive credit in this course.
