The first in a series of three courses in pre-calculus mathematics. Topics include properties of real numbers, algebraic expressions, equations and inequalities, graphing techniques, introduction to algebraic functions, analytic geometry, selected applications, and elements of logic and set theory. This course was formerly known as MATH 120. Prerequisite: mATh 099 with grade of "C" or better or placement test.
