An in-depth interdisciplinary study of the life and culture(s) of one country or region of the world, with a focus on the relationship between the arts, history, religion, politics, and socio-economic conditions and cultural values and traditions in the region. Exploration of the role the culture has in the larger world and the political, cultural and economic issues that impact that role.
