Examines cultures of the European Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. Studies literary, philosophical, theological, scientific, musical, or artistic movements, contributors, and works which have shapes Renaissance and Reformation sensibilities. Develops multiple strategies for analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating the cultural expressions which constitute the Renaissance and Reformation heritages of Europe. Prerequisite: enGl& 101 or WRIT 101, or concurrently, or instructor's permission.
