Brief review of operations with signed numbers and solving basic linear equations. Graphing linear relationships, the equation of a line, systems of equations, properties of exponents, operations on polynomials, and solving quadratic equations by factoring. Introduction of rational expressions and roots and radicals. Prerequisite: mATh 090 or appropriate placement test score required and 094 with a grade of "C" or better or appropriate placement test score required.
