Data collection, management, analysis and presentation using advanced Global Positioning System/GIS data loggers and sophisticated software to design projects, import, collect, rectify and analyze field data and present results in cartographic form. Students receive instruction in field and office procedures using advanced resource grade GPS/GIS hardware and software. Prerequisite: basic computer skills or CIS 123.
