Further develops students' reading and writing skills at the advanced level. Teaches how to write argumentative essays by conducting research, constructing and arguments, and using appropriate conventions. Fosters an appreciation of an open attitude towards diverse points of view and the value of reasoned debate in a healthy community. This course was formerly known as WRIT 102, College Writing II. Prerequisite: Completion of enGl& 101 or WRIT 101, with a grade of "C" or better.
