Focuses on elements of grammatical compound, complex, and compound/complex sentences and strategies for fitting these sentences together into unified and coherent paragraphs; covers punctuation and includes individual and group editing techniques, to help students be more independently successful in writing clear and complex prose for college-level courses across the disciplines. May be repeated for up to five credits. (Course runs five weeks and starts Week 1 and Week 6). This course was formerly known as WRIT 100. Prerequisite: Placement in enGl& 101 or WRIT 101 which may be taken concurrently or by referral from developmental education.
