Exploration of teaching as a profession in the K-12 system, including preparation for professional competencies and certification in Washington State. Includes 30 hours of supervised practicum in addition to 4 hours in the classroom per week. This course was formerly known as EDUC 101, Introduction to Education. Prerequisite: CIS 108 or equivalent recommenced.
