Introductory programming course using visual BASIC. Course assumes that student has no prior knowledge of computer programming. Emphasis will be placed on structured programming, visual interfaces and VBASIC projects. Programs will be written using loops, decision logic structures and various methods and techniques of data management. The class project will use Visual BASIC as an interface to an Access database as it might be used in an office environment. Pre- or co-requisite: CSC 160.
