Taking a sociological perspective on criminal correlation, etiology and crimogenesis, this course examines criminal behavior across the life course, considering such issues as juvenile delinquency, "aging out" of crime, persistent career criminality, and such social variables as class, employment, race, sex roles, ethnicity, religion and ideology on crime. Credit, 3 semester hours. Prerequisite: SOC 2400.
