This course is designed to provide the student with a theoretical perspective on human relations and to aid the student in acquiring a better understanding of diversity as it applies to selected groups in the United States. Although other historically disadvantaged groups may be addressed, a case study approach is utilized for: African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Native-Americans, Latin-Americans, women, homosexuals and Jews. Credit, 3 semester hours.
