A study of the major issues and problems in American foreign policy, including tradition and other constant factors of policy, with emphasis on the historical development of U.S. foreign policy in post- World War II period. Areas covered may include: World War II and the origins of the Cold War; the development of the Cold War under Truman and Eisenhower; and the foreign policies of U.S. administrations from Kennedy to the present. Credit, 3 semester hours. PREREQ: PSPA 1000 or 1010.
