Study Strategies is designed to help students develop and improve skills necessary to succeed in a rigorous college academic environment. Topics include time management, memory enhancement, critical reading, effective listening and note taking, test preparation, and critical thinking and writing. Prerequisites: Passed all sections of THEA (or alternate test) or approval of Division Chair. Not counted toward a degree or certificate. One lecture hour and one laboratory hour per week. Credit: One semester hour.
