This course surveys basic religious issues such as the existence and nature of God, religious and mystical experience, miracles, immorality, the problem of evil, the relationship between reason and faith, and the meaning of religious language and symbols. Prerequisites: Pass the Reading section of the THEA test (or alternate test) or to have passed READ 0306 with a grade of "C"or better. Three class hours per week. Credit: Three semester hours.
