Description:

Prerequisite: Two years of high school Spanish; or one year college Spanish; or as determined by placement test results. This course provides an accelerated introduction to Spanish for those who have had some Spanish but who are not ready for study at the Intermediate level. The course emphasizes practical listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The material covered is equivalent to that covered in SPN 1120-1121. Native speakers of Spanish may take this course only with the permission of the Foreign Language Coordinator. (A laboratory fee of $10 will be assessed.)
