Specifically, the course examines four central issues surrounding environmental problems: (i) the nature, scope, and social consequences of environmental problems; (ii) the human causes of environmental problems; (iii) the human responses to environmental problems; and (iv) an alternative way of thinking about and responding to environmental problems.
