Experiments exploring radiation and the atomic nature of matter, including the photoelectric effect, atomic emission and absorption spectroscopy, the Franck-Hertz experiment, electron spin resonance and nuclear radiation. Four hours laboratory. (An equipment fee of $25 will be assessed.)
